Sky Installations

Astrasat's specialist installation service is designed to ensure that the customer receives the best possible signal from the satellite.  All work is carried out by an experienced Sky qualified engineer.

The installation process is broken down as follows:

• Site survey to identify the best position for the dish and cable run.  A signal test is conducted to verify the correctness of the position.  Both the proposed dish location and cable run are then agreed by the customer
• Fit mounting kit and digital satellite dish to the agreed position plus any additional equipment needed to install the dish.
• Align the dish to the correct satellite
• Drill hole to access the interior where the television and satellite receiver is to be located
• Fix cable (using correct fixings) to the location of the TV(s) in a sympathetic manner
• Connect Sky set top box to the feeds from the dish and also the TV via scart or HDMI leads

You will now have English TV in your home.  As part of our service we ensure you have a working knowledge of the equipment and help fill out all necessary forms and assist in the choice of subscription packages to best meet your needs. We always clear away after we have finished, leaving the work area clear of debris.
